Alpine introduced the first two series of Light (LS) and Medium (MS) Tie Straps for our rapidly growing Construction Hardware product line in 2014. Today, we are excited to announce an expansion to this popular product family - the LMS Light-Medium Tie Strap Series - for all U.S. customers.

These new tie straps are in stock and available for immediate purchase, along with the existing LS and MS Tie Straps.

The LMS Tie Straps are designed to resist tension loads when attached to solid sawn or structural composite lumber metal plate-connected trusses, framing members and wall members. They provide additional steel gauge and tension load options for the complete line of Alpine tie straps, ensuring customers always have the right strap for their specific application.

The LMS family includes nine new products, all 1-1/4" wide and ranging in length from 9-5/8" to 36-5/8". They are made of 18-gauge, mill-certified steel coil with a G90 coating, manufactured to ASTM A653 SS Grade 60 specifications or better.

The LS, LMS and MS Tie Strap Series carry IAPMO and FBC engineering approvals (ER_0179 and FL14076-R4, respectively).

The new Alpine Structural Connectors 2015/2016 catalog contains product descriptions, diagrams and allowable load tables for all three Alpine Construction Hardware Tie Strap Series.

Sincerely,
