Hollins Alumnae Admission News Fall 2013
Greetings from Hollins! As students settle in to their course schedules on campus and whispers of Tinker Day abound, the Office of Admission is excited to share several exciting initiatives related to alumnae engagement. With strong alumnae support, the Office of Admission is already hard at work to identify potential members of the Hollins University Class of 2018. Read on to learn more about how alumnae admission volunteers are supporting recruitment efforts this fall.
Rally for Referrals
As announced in September by President Gray, the Office of Admission has invited all alumnae to become involved in recruitment efforts by referring a prospective student.
With a goal of 50 referrals of high school seniors by November 1, and 100 additional referrals of students of any age by Reunion 2014, there is ample time to identify and introduce a young woman in your life to Hollins. Thanks to alumnae support, we've already made great strides toward our November goal with 33 referrals already processed.
If your referral is received before the student's admission to Hollins, she will receive a one-time $500 scholarship. Encourage her to visit our beautiful campus, which could earn her an additional $500 through the Campus Visit Scholarship program. The class with the most referrals will receive recognition, so be sure to do your part in the Rally for Referrals!
33 referrals received toward our goal of 50
