What do you love most about your job?
I love my small community where I live and work.  With my job I am helping that community grow and thrive. I am a people person and hate to sit behind a desk all day and with my job I am out and about daily and never get bored.

Tell us about your most embarrassing Chamber moment.
I have not really had anything happen too embarrassing yet, but I know that it is coming. I am always worried that I am not going to pronounce a name correctly or have something in my teeth while giving a presentation.
Which Chamber Executive has had the biggest impact on your career and how
There are so many people that have helped me this past year to name. I look up to some of the best in the business, I think, like Kali Boatright, Tommy Jennings, Pam Carnes, Roddie Ann Blackwell, Carlotta Ungaro, Candace Boothby and Brian Anderson. Please know that what you are doing is not going unnoticed, and the leadership that you show to us newer chamber professionals is greatly appreciated.
What is your Chamber's signature event?
Our signature event would have to be our Annual Dinner. We have the dinner late March or early April. It is a semi-formal event held at our local racetrack where we bring in tents, caterers, and live music. We do not conduct any official business that night just a fun event for our members.
What is your favorite Georgia destination outside of the one you represent and why?
Tybee Island is my favorite place. My family has been going there for years several times a year. I love being on island time, and the locals are very friendly. I enjoy going to the Breakfast Club for breakfast, then hitting the beach watching the ships come in, then supper at The Crab Shack, and then the best ice cream called Tybee Mud at Seaside Treats.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a teacher or a nurse.
