Amazing Grace! 8/27/17
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Oftentimes, I AWAKE (PRAISE THE LORD FOR AWAKENING AGAIN), (P.S. I NEVER GET TIRED OF PRAISING THE LORD FOR AWAKENING AGAIN!),
with NOTHING to preach on.
I AGAIN wonder "if THIS will be finally be the day I have NUTTIN to say!!??"
EVERY sermon I preach is "hot off the press," and not something I copied from another writer or preacher-God does not serve "old eggs!!"
Over the last couple of days I kept noticing an article on FB and in my "news" feed:
This morning I finally clicked on the site and was BLESSED to read the TRUE story.
How well do I remember the same thing occurring in my life some "almost 16 years" ago-
CONNOR NATHANIEL DRUCKER "WOULD HAVE" been 16 years old on September 26, 2017!!!
He left this life on March 11, 2002, age 5 and ½ months of SIDS.
The past two weeks found me involved in the funerals of two aged grandmothers, both well into their eighties.
The last funeral involved the mother of my OLD high school best friend.
She passed away on Monday, August 21, and her funeral was scheduled for this past Wednesday, 8/23/17.
The second son attended her wake Tuesday night, and on the way home suffered a massive heart attack and died suddenly-
One NEVER knows the days or hours WE have left here on planet earth.
Psalm 90:12 (KJV)
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
SO, dear preacher, what does that say about "AMAZING GRACE!!??"
Our Bible instructs us:
Romans 12:10 (KJV)
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
As I often say these days:
"
I got enough money-I just don't know how much time I got left!!!"
TIME IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN MONEY!!
Does not our Bible teach us:
Romans 3:23 (KJV)
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
The OLDER I get, the MORE I realize and UNDERSTAND:
1 Peter 4:7 (KJV)
7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
There are FAR less days ahead as days past!!!

8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
