FCA Info to Know Graphic

Today, the U.S. House voted to defeat the
Grothman Amendment by a 297 to 114 vote.
If it had passed, it would have proposed cutting
NEA and NEH each by $23 million for FY 2019.

Many thanks to those of you who communicated with your U.S. House member to ask him or her to OPPOSE this amendment.

The U.S. House votes on the interior appropriations bill this evening.  That means that the U.S. House will propose $155 million each for the NEA and NEH in FY 2019.

The U.S. Senate is next to vote on its proposed FY 2019 appropriation bills.  It also recommends $155 million each for the NEA and NEH.

We'll keep you informed as we learn the status of FY 2019 funding for the NEA and NEH as the budget process continues through Congress.

Thank you for your prompt response.
