Energy Supply and Energy Prices under the Trump Administration

Energy supply _ prices Trump
During his campaign, Trump promised to weaken federal regulations of the fossil fuel industry, invest in energy infrastructure, and put millions of Americans back to work in the country's energy sector. His team has predicted that his proposed changes would add $147 billion in revenue over 10 years (though some experts do not believe the labor market is large enough to support this growth).

Campaign promises do not always translate into governing realities. Coal country and environmentalists alike will be keeping a close eye on the Trump administration's actions on energy.

Does a Trump Presidency Spell the End for Renewable Energy?
Renewable energy Trump
Energy Companies Say No.

President-elect Trump has given environmentalists and other champions of renewable energy cause for concern. He's called climate change a hoax, promised to gut the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and pull the United States out of the Paris Agreement, and pledged investment in fossil fuel energy production.

Does this spell the beginning of the end for renewable energy in the United States? Energy companies are clear on this issue: No.
