It's Time to Guess the Birdies?!
Guess right and you could win a new 2017 Honda Vehicle
American Honda Birdies for Children program is a vehicle for local charities to team up with The Honda Classic and present their donor base with a chance to win a new Honda automobile, while at the same time, the charity benefits from the proceeds plus a 10% matching contribution courtesy of The Honda Classic.
Make a donation of $20 or more to Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida and then guess the total number of birdies that will be made by the entire field in all four rounds of the 2017 Honda Classic.

What can be won
Grand Prize : Brand New 2017 Honda Vehicle
The Grand Prize will be awarded to the donor who guesses the correct number of birdies.

*Note - In the event of a tie, a blind drawing from all correct guesses will determine the winner.

Several great prizes will be awarded based on a random drawing from all participants. (Donation not required to be eligible to win)

Thanks to All for a Great Cookie Season
The 2017 Girl Scout Cookie Sale came to an end on February 12. We would like to say thank you and kudos to our GSSEF family of volunteers, parents and girls!
It required teamwork from all to work an extra booth or two, visit your neighbors and stay positive all while the girls had a great time. Everyone did an awesome job.
GSSEF has now begun the process of reconciling the sale and sales numbers which will be shared in our E-Newsletter.

GSSEF's Comings and Goings
We sadly announce that the woman behind both our Fall Product and our Cookie Sale; the woman who you have proudly referred to as your "Cookie Lady" will be retiring in the middle of April. Denise Fiorelli came to our Council in 2009 as the Director of Product Sales. Her extensive experience in membership, program and volunteer management would serve her well as she took the lead in this very important role. Despite living more than 90 miles from the service center, her passion for Girl Scouts and her commitment to our mission would serve as her copilot for the next seven years.
Denise's passion, dedication and commitment to the Girl Scout mission will be missed. Please join us in congratulating Denise on a successful career in Girl Scouting as we've just wrapped up her final Girl Scout Cookie Sale!
Denise's retirement created a new opportunity within our Council. We are pleased to share that Gabriella Gaita has been appointed to the role of Director of Product Sales! Gabriella came to our Council eight years ago and has been serving as a Volunteer Engagement Specialist supporting those volunteers in the South Broward area of our jurisdiction. Previous to that she served for five years as a volunteer for Girl Scouts of Broward County. Gabriella's background in retail sales management and marketing along with her superior volunteer engagement skills and tenacious worth ethic will serve her well in this role!
