Thank you for your generous donations to the Fall Book Sale! Your donations from your bookshelves allow us to offer the wide assortment of thousands of books for the sale. This year's sale starts on Thursday with the Friends Only Preview Night. The sale opens to the general public on Friday. Stroll down Main Street on Saturday to celebrate Old Suckasunny Day; enjoy the assorted vendors, yummy treats, free entertainment... and of course the book sale. Sunday closes out the book sale with Bag Day. Our bags, your books.

The book sales generate a large portion of the funds the Friends use to support the library. The funds we raise have gone toward the e-book, audio & DVD collections, supports your favorite programs like the Summer Reading programs and new computers for the Computer Training Center. After many years and much discussion we have found it necessary to raise some of our book sale prices. We hope you will continue your patronage and support our wonderful Library.

The Fall Booksale Starts Thursday!

Get a head start on your neighbors by coming to our Preview Sale on Thursday Sept 4, 5-8pm. The Preview Sale is for Friends members only... but you can join at the sale for as little as $5 for seniors or $10 for an individual membership by using PayPal or joining on Preview night at the check-in table. Bag Day is Going Recyclable

The Friends have added recyclable bags to Bag Day. The Friends of the Library recyclable bag will be available for purchase on Bag Day for $2. The Friends bag is larger than the brown paper bags we have been using for bag day. Filling either the Friends recyclable bag or the brown paper bag is still $5 a bag.

About Us

The purpose of the Friends of the Library is to stimulate community awareness and use of the Township's Public Library and to support the Library in developing its facilities. We foster support for the Library's programs, to aid in the purchase of items and equipment for the Library. The Friends also sponsor cultural and educational programs for the benefit of the membership and the community at large. To support these endeavors the Friends raise funds by holding used book sales and membership dues. Please forward this e-mail and ask your friends to support the Friends by purchasing a membership.
