Cabin Fever? The Friends have activites to get you out of the house. Tuesday Feb 19 join us at Bensi of Succasunna for a Friends fundraiser. Present this coupon when you dine in or eat out and a portion of your bill will be donated to the Friends of the Library. Thursday Feb 21 the Funny Movie Night for teens is sponsored by the Friends. Friday March 1st is the annual Read Across America event underwritten by the Friends. The Freinds also support Tuesday's Books for Babies and After School Crafts, Wednesday's Tween Time, Thursday's Teen Nights and Friday's Films at 1pm. Look for more details on the Library's website.

Fundraiser Tuesday Feb 19!

Bensi Succasunna is helping the Friends raise much needed funds for the library. On Tuesday February 19th a portion of your tab will go toward the Friends of the Library. All you need is an appetite and our coupon. Print it out or pick one up, even get one at Bensi!

Helping Hands

The Friends of the Library are looking for helpful hands to organize and support Friends activities. The Book Sale chair is always looking for volunteers. We also have opportunities in fundraising, events and advocacy.

Grab your Hat and Read with the Cat!

The Friends of the Library are once again sponsoring the annual celebration of Dr. Seuss and reading on Friday March 1st. In his honor, Congressman Leonard Lance and Mayor Fred Hall will be among the guest readers sharing their favorite Seuss books with the children of Roxbury. Goodie bags courtesy of the Friends and yummy cupcakes from the Sweet Spot Bake Shoppe will be given to each child. Space is limited for this popular event, so stop by the Youth Services Reference Desk or call (973)584-2400 x503 to register.

The Friends of the Library support library programs such as
the growing Books for Babies and Tween & Teen Programs. Friday at the Movies are underwritten by the Friends with the annual purchase the Motion Picture License and our ongoing support of the audio and DVD collections. We also aid in the purchase of items such as the Museum Pass Program and much more. If you haven't done so already, please re-new your membership for 2013.
