April Selfie of the Month
Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly visiting companions come in all shapes and sizes. Some are even of the four-legged variety! Meet LBFE elder Paul and his adorable Tibetan terrier friend Wallace. Wallace and his owner Jenna have been volunteering together for LBFE for over two  years. Jenna says Paul and Wallace have a great time together whenever she brings him along on their visits. Do you have a pet your elder friend may enjoy meeting?

Next time you are with your elder friend, snap a selfie or two! Share a funny or heartwarming story from your time together and put a face on aging. Send us an email by clicking the "Share a Story" button below. Then simply share your thoughts, attach a photo and send!

Will YOU be the May Selfie of the Month?

Immediate Need: Orientation Facilitators
Are you passionate about LBFE and our mission to relieve elder loneliness and isolation? Do you enjoy sharing the LBFE story with others and talking about why you
love
volunteering with us?

If so, Orientation Facilitator is the perfect volunteer role for you!

Orientation Facilitators present new volunteers with the information, training and support  they need to be great volunteers. Orientation sessions run for two hours and are typically held at LBFE. Training and resources will be provided prior to facilitating your first orientation and basic training session.
