World Cafe Live: The Jones Family Singers in Concert

The Jones Family Singers --five sisters, two brothers and their father -- have been tearing up churches and festivals alike for over two decades. Besides churches, nightclubs, concert series and music festivals, they've also brought their powerful musical ministry to prisons, interfaith events and community celebrations. Now, you can see them in concert at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia.

The  2015 Christi Awards: Arts for Our City's Sake
October 23, 2015

The Christi Awards are CCAC's signature event, honoring community members who are supportive of and passionate about the arts.

This year, the Christi Awards celebrates the important contribution the arts provide for the quality of life in Wilmington. The evening kicks off at CCAC with a 5:30pm performance by renowned jazz pianist Aaron Diehl, followed by the official Christi Awards ceremony in historic Willingtown Square.

Then join an open-air, arts-infused party along the 600 block of Market Street -- including DJs spinning in outdoor cafes, visual arts exhibits, live theater and dance, comedy improv, musical performances, performance art and participatory experiences. Gourmet food and drink stations will be featured throughout the event footprint.

Conclude the evening of arts celebration with a high-energy, exclusive after-party featuring a performance by special guest Damon Bryson (of The Roots and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon) and music by Philadelphia radio personality, DJ Doc B.

General tickets are $75 each and available now at ChristiAwards.org.
An online early bird discount is available until August 31, 2015, by using the code "EB10" at checkout.
