Finding your Voice: An intimate evening with award-winning song artist, Jill Jack

Thursday, August 23, 7PM

Lido Gallery

By combining her gifts as a conceptual visionary with a warm gathering of musical influences, Jill Jack touches that secret heart of ours with her melodies and lyrics. Since 1997 sheıs won 33 Detroit Music Awards in every conceivable category that applies to a singer-songwriter. Much of this success is due to her charming stage presence and emotive songwriting. Itıs simply called connecting, and itıs the bounty of a true songwriter open to all of life: her own defeats, victories, hopes dashed, dreams fulfilled, her muse, her loneliness, her misplaced love and her romantic successes.

Join us for an inspirational "open conversation" and share your voice with Jill's. Whether you're an artist, homemaker, or entrepreneur, we'll explore the connections and challenges that not only make us who we are, but also who we can be.

This special up close and personal evening will be filmed by ten-time Michigan Emmy producer Keith Famie for a 2013 film called "Live Like There's No Tomorrow: The Jill Jack Story."

The film will premiere in 2013 at a special benefit that will support the Michigan Arthritis Foundation and The Detroit Children's Choir.

To view a trailer for this film visit www.v-prod.com and click on the Live Like There's No Tomorrow link.

Please be prepared to sign a release giving your permission to be filmed for this documentary.
