All the Beautiful Lies
All the Beautiful Lies
by Peter Swanson
This was a great Sunday morning page-turner for me! High marks for twists and turns in a clever story that follows a chain of related deaths over thirty years. Swanson delivers a captivating read with an unexpected ending.

The Breakdown
The Breakdown
by B. A. Paris

B.A. Paris did it again! I thought Behind Closed Doors had me losing sleep but this one definitely made me order take-out for dinner two nights in a row! The Breakdown had me on a roller coaster of emotions, to say the least. Cass goes through so much and I feel for her in every page of this book. She had what seemed like the best support system around her but things goes down a steep hill, which I did not expect to happen. I promise you won't be able to put this book down!

The Orphan Band of Springdale
A lovely and satisfying historical novel set just prior to World War II, where 11-year-old Augusta Neubronner finds her place amidst her grandmother's orphanage in Maine. This story conveys a strong sense of family, community, and hope. (Ages 10+)
