An Unlikely Newsletter
July 27, 2017
It's Christmas in July! We are hosting a book drive for the entire month of July to help Christmas is for Kids prepare for their 2017 drive. Here is how it works: as you enter the store you'll notice a Christmas tree with paper ornaments. Each ornament has a book title, child's age, and gender. Simply pick an ornament from the tree, locate the book and bring it to the cashier who will collect the book. We will also donate the tips from the café to this amazing organization.

The Originals_ Coffee House Night
Thursday, July 27th from 6:00pm to 8:30pm
Back by popular demand, we are THRILLED to re-introduce our Coffee House Nights with a unique twist! In order to encourage creativity in the local community, we are seeking artists to come play original music and/or read their poetry. Each act will be given 15 minutes to perform and there will be a 5-minute break in between performances for breakdown and set up. Since our store is a family-friendly environment, we ask that the material from each performer be appropriate for all ages. To register for a performance time slot, please call the store at 508-699-0244 or email Jenna at jenna@anunlikelystory.com

In the CaféCafe
We are very excited to announce that all of our baked goods are now created in-house, and are wheat-free. While we were getting our kitchen ready for baking, we were lucky enough to have Twist Bakery supply us with goodies. We cannot thank them enough for partnering with us during our first two years. We do carry prepackaged gluten products in our kitchen, but we try our best to prevent cross contamination. If you have any particular concerns, please feel free to ask to speak to our Café Manager, Sandra.

This is the perfect book to read every summer. King Philip_s War
