Andrew Dorman and Brian Nally Present at 2016 IBDC Conference

Reminger Co., LPA is proud to announce that Financial Services Professional Liability Chair  Andrew J. Dorman and Partner/Practice Group Member  Brian P. Nally  just presented at the 2016 Independent Broker Dealer Consortium (IBDC) Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. 

"Building a Defensible Arbitration" addressed the steps that Broker-Dealers, Registered Representatives, and other financial services professionals should take in order to best defend themselves in a FINRA arbitration. 



Andy's practice focuses on a wide range of civil defense litigation, including professional liability, employment, directors and officers liability, commercial litigation, complex tort litigation, real estate litigation and securities litigation. Between 1999 and 2009, Andy was a partner in another Cleveland law firm, chairing the firm's business litigation practice group.

Andy has tried civil jury trials and arbitrations throughout the State of Ohio and its adjoining states, and has argued before the majority of Ohio's appellate districts. Andy also has handled numerous matters in Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, Maryland, North Carolina and Michigan. Andy has also represented numerous foreign-based institutional, corporate and individual clients, and domestic litigation including clients based in Europe, Africa, Canada, and Asia.



Brian is a Partner practicing out of Reminger's Cleveland and Indianapolis offices. His national litigation practice focuses on securities litigation and arbitration, business and commercial litigation, and employment law. Brian has served as lead counsel in litigation or arbitration disputes in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Louisiana, Kentucky, and California, and regularly represents clients in state and federal court, as well as arbitration before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitration and American Arbitration Association (AAA).  

Brian has experience representing clients in the financial services industry in government regulatory investigations and enforcement actions brought by FINRA, the Securities and Exchange Commission, professional boards (e.g, the CFB Board), the department of securities, the department of insurance, and the Internal Revenue Service. He also has experience representing companies and individuals with employment and discrimination-related issues before the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services, and/or the Ohio Civil Rights Commission.
