Christmas Miracles

The Woodlands United Methodist Church assists Angel Reach Kinship families with Christmas gifts for the children in your care.

Each year, Christmas Miracles helps children celebrate a joyous Christmas season with gifts. The members of their church buy the gifts and donate them to our Angel Reach ministry.

Registration is open until October 31st.

You will need the following information:

Celebrate Me!

Angel Reach and local teens in kinship and foster care are
celebrated at this annual event held within the community.

Celebrate Me! is for foster teens ages 13-19.
The day includes live music, a rock wall, obstacle course,
games, food, swag bags, and more!

Caregiver Financial Support from
Texas Department of Family &
Protective Services
 
As of September 1, 2017, caregivers who qualify may receive a monthly reimbursement of $ 11.55 per day per child for up to 12 months.

If you obtain permanent managing conservatorship (PMC) of the child, you may request a $ 500 annual reimbursement for up to three years.

Habitat for Humanity Repair
Program Available

Homeowners that need relief are able to get assistance with repairs such as a leaky roof, plumbing problems, broken windows and other critical issues through Habitat for Humanity.

 Autism Support Group

Autism Share is a parent support group that meets in The Woodlands, Texas. It is a gathering for concerned parents, caregivers, and friends that have come together to support each other, inform about available resources and share their stories, hopes, and experiences of raising children with Aspergers or on the Autism Spectrum.   Kinship families impacted by Aspergers or Autism are invited and welcome to join this group. In-Home Ministry

Angel Reach can connect your family with Stephen Ministers that will visit you in your home or offer counseling by telephone once per week to discuss any challenges or issues that you are facing. Please contact: Cindy.Pullin@angelreach.org for more information.
               
On-line Grocery Ordering Now Available!
We know that there are times that you can not get to the food pantry because of conflicting schedules, kids home from school, etc. We now have online grocery ordering. You fill out an order form and we will pull your groceries and arrange for a pick up time that is convenient for you or possibly a home delivery. Please sign up if you are interested at the food pantry.
