"Your contributions as a

voice talent and singer would be

more than sufficient to earn praise,

but your gifts as a voice director and music coach are exceptional...

The critical success of our show is

due in no small part to your considerable efforts."

READ THE  TESTIMONIALS...

"You reinforced my belief that I can work in the genre and I am writing to share a couple of recent successes with you. . . 40 episodes of dubbing for Metajets and a recurring Principal  on the second season of Dex Hamilton. I can't tell you the confidence that I feel going into animation auditions now . . . nothing but positive energy." -- Ivan Sherry, Toronto

"Eric and I wanted to thank you for all your help and direction on Sunday and to let you know that it all paid off!  We just got the call today that Eric got the part he "auditioned" for Tuesday!  He's very excited and so glad he took your workshop."

-- Eric's mom, Tweens Workshop, Vancouver

"I'm more versatile than I originally thought.  Thanks again for all your help and advice. It's made all the difference." -- Alex David, Toronto

"Always very supportive to all efforts regardless of the level of each participant.  Great pace. Wonderful resources... and tools at the Participant's disposal."

-- Doreen Judge, Calgary

"You've unleashed a beast. Woooooooo oo oo ooh! Just call me 'Wolfie'. I had a great and rewarding time today. Thanks. "

-- Joe Passion, Toronto

"Where were you twenty years ago? I cant wait to get this going! This is something I have always wanted to do but didn't know how to go about it. Now that I do, I see a grand adventure opening before me."

-- Graham Gauthier, Toronto

"I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE WORKSHOP!!!! I have been doing nothing but taking workshops and studying since I moved here and yesterday was by far the best one I attended. I feel very confident about going in to audition now." -- Ricky Luciani, Vancouver

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for getting reads out of me that I did not know I had the ability to achieve! It may sound like a bad infomercial, but I've had other voice instructors and I've bought almost all the voice over books, but it wasn't until your class that I discovered I have all these characters in me and that I can do voice over work. Falling on my ass has never been so much fun! And that's a good thing."

-- Keith Moore, Vancouver

"The commercial work I have been doing has not challenged me one iota in comparison to the animation exercises and thought process."

-- Wendy Atlin, Toronto

"The class was awesome!"

-- Dan Darin-Zanco, Toronto

Animation is in the Air!

Avatar
Welcome to the 4th issue of my Tooned In! Newsletter. This spring and summer I really want to hear from voice-over actors based in Toronto and Vancouver!

MYTHS & FACTS

MYTH: Animation Voice-over is limited to actors who are already working.

FACT: They are looking for new voices that are brilliant. It's easy  to be 'brilliant'.

FACT: You make $50,000+ a year for 4 hours work a week, in a 52-episode, 'union', animation series.

FACT: Double that if you play multiple characters, so you need to develop a multi-character repertoire.

FACT: A Voice-over Demo will seldom 'get you a job' but you must have a Voice demo in order to get an agent.

FACT: You must have an agent in order to audition for union work.

FACT: Non-union actors become 'union' when they are cast in a union show.

FACT: It doesn't matter what you look like!

Accepting Animation Demos!

THINGS MOVE FAST in the Animation Industry! If you are a Voice Actor with a strong 'comedic sense', make sure I have your Cartoon Voice-over Demo and be sure to include your e-mail address and what city you hail from. Also please let me know the name of your union agent, if you have one.
DO NOT send demos by e-mail!!!
Note: I don't offer feedback on demos or mp3s.

Demos can be posted to:
