Rarely have we had so much fun at a book launch!! Tex Perkins was a great guest - so generous with his time - and so very funny. Thanks must go to Jon Coghill for a terrific interview, and thanks to my partners in crime (or in books anyway) Noosa Library Service.

Tex Perkins Book Laumch

Shelley Davidow was predictably wonderful as she recently presented her new memoir SHADOW SISTERS with ABC Radio's Sheridan Stewart. This is a must read for anyone in love with Africa, or fascinated by its apartheid history.

Donald Grant - KILLER INSTINCT

Donald Grant Killer Instinct
Donald Grant is one of Australia's foremost forensic psychiatrists. He asks, what is it about murder that fascinates us? Is it the chill whisper of fear reminding us we too can kill? This book features ten true murder cases, each with unique triggers. Most of us are fascinated, if not addicted, to murder mysteries; the crime genre is the most commercially successful area of the book trade, and there are endless choices of murder mysteries on the various television platforms. This is a rare opportunity to meet and listen to a man involved in the real world of crime, violence and criminal psychiatry in our country.

This book is already attracting a lot of attention. Donald is booked to speak with Richard Fidler on his ABC Conversations program, he is appearing on ABC and commercial television, and has booked out events around the country.

BOOK CLUBS TAKE NOTE!!

When I am asked who are Australia's finest authors, I immediately think of Helen Garner as one of the front runners. She is the author of numerous novels, stories, screenplays and works of non-fiction. Her mantelpiece would be full of literary awards which she has gathered over her many years of writing, the most recent being the 2017 Indie Award for Non-Fiction which she won for her personal collection of writings Everywhere I Look.

We are grateful to be partnering in this literary event with the good folks from Noosa Library Service.
