Announcing Open Call Selections 

Thank you so much to everyone who submitted this year to our open call. We received over five hundred submissions, a record for the press. 

We are pleased to announce our two open call selections by our guest editors: 
Tracie Morris, Anna Moschovakis and Vincent Broqua, in partnership with Futurepoem staff editors. 

The selections are:

Wild Peach

Sean D. Henry-Smith is an image/text based artist working primarily in poetry and photography. Sean's words and images have appeared in Apogee Journal, Tagvverk, Mask Magazine, Contemporary, and elsewhere. Visit them at 

Sean will be reading with Jasmine Gibson, Stephon Lawrence, and Tongo Eisen-Martin at Jasmine Gibson's Book Launch on July 18th at Spoonbill Books. He is also taking part in Triple Canopy's Publication Intensive from June 11 - 22 in NYC and Providence. Sean's work has recently been printed in The Felt's fourth issue

Based in Berkeley, CA, 최 Lindsay is the author of a chapbook, Matrices (speCt! books, 2017). Their writing can also be found in OmniVerse, Apogee, The Felt, and Bettering American Poetry Vol. 2, and elsewhere, including the Berkeley Art Museum's recent exhibit, Way Bay. They are a Kundiman fellow and an incoming Ph.D. candidate in English literature at UC Berkeley. Visit them at www.lindsaychoi.com
