Day of Remembrance Ceremony

Please make plans to join us for the annual Tennessee Holocaust Day of Remembrance, Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Capitol in the Old Supreme Court Chamber at 10am, hosted by the Tennessee Holocaust Commission.

This year's theme, Why We Remember The Holocaust, will include the recitation of the traditional Jewish prayer of remembrance for those who died, and reflections from Tennessee students. We will also recognize the winners of the 2015 Belz-Lipman Holocaust Educator of the Year Award.

Images from the "Living On" exhibit will be on display in the main hallway of the State Legislature from April 13-17, 2015. The ceremony and exhibit are open to the public.
