Meet the Musicians Music@Menlo Announces Participants for 2017 International ProgramAtherton, CA – Music@Menlo is pleased to announce the musicians that will participate in the Chamber Music Institute’s 2017 International Program. An extraordinary group of young artists boasting a range of internationally recognized titles, prizes, and accolades, the performers come to Music@Menlo from top conservatories and music schools. These include the Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Curtis Institute of Music, New England Conservatory, Northwestern University, and the Schulich School of Music at McGill University. Hailing from Argentina, Canada, Sweden, the United States, and Venezuela, this year’s group of young artists have played with such renowned ensembles as the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Philarmonie, New York Philharmonic, and Los Angeles Philharmonic, and with musicians including Christian Tetzlaff, Gidon Kremer, Itzhak Perlman, and Joshua Bell. Audience members will have the opportunity to see these extraordinary musicians perform in Music@Menlo's hugely popular series, Prelude Performances, throughout the festival.
