Palm Beach Dramaworks
Announces a New Season of

Lunch & Learn
(formerly known as Knowledge & Nibbles)

An Up-Close-and-Personal Look at

Bringing a Production to Life

Lunch at Neighborhood Restaurants Included

Knowledge & Nibbles, Palm Beach Dramaworks' popular series that provides patrons with the opportunity to hear from the artists bringing a production to life and also enjoy lunch with other theatre lovers, returns as Lunch & Learn on October 8 with an up-close-and-personal look at Thornton Wilder's Our Town

The name change was made to readily identify just what the program is: lunch, followed by a discussion about an upcoming play. Demand for tickets to these programs has grown so much in recent years that another change has been made, this one to accommodate ticket requests. In the past, a buffet lunch was served in PBD's studio theatre prior to the discussion. But the size of the studio meant we had to turn people away. This season, those who attend will dine at neighborhood restaurants close to PBD, then head over to the Don & Ann Brown Theatre for the program. Participating restaurants include Tin Fish, Oli's Fashion Cuisine, and the soon-to-open Lynora's, with additional restaurants to come.

Lunch & Learn is sponsored by the Palm Beach Dramaworks Theatre Guild. Each program takes place on a Wednesday afternoon, and features the director and cast. Lunch is from 11:45 to 12:45, followed by a discussion from 1:00 to 2:00. The schedule is as follows:

October 8, 2014: Our Town by Thornton Wilder
            Location: Tin Fish Restaurant

December 3, 2014: My Old Lady by Israel Horovitz
