Del Mar, CA - May 27, 2014 -  New specs have been released for the PCHA/Equine Insurance Child/Adult Hunter and Jumper Championships. All horses, riders and owners must be current PCHA members so don't forget to start or renew your membership with PCHA so you don't miss out on this fun championship opportunity! PCHA/Equine Insurance Child/Adult Hunter Championship
Del Mar International Horse Show Welcome Week CSI-2* (Oct 15-19, 2014)

Open to Child/Adult Amateur horse/rider combinations from the PCHA Children's/Adult Amateur Hunter Standings. All horses, riders and owners must be current PCHA members. Classes to count at each show include the Children's Hunters, Adult Amateur Hunters, and the Child/Adult Amateur Hunter Classics. 


Each horse/rider combination must have competed in one other class during the Del Mar International Welcome Week CSI-2*. All entries will compete in a first round on Saturday, October 18, and the top 30 horse/rider combinations will compete for the championship on Sunday, October 19. The order of go for the first round will be in reverse order of points from the PCHA Children's Adult Hunter Standings as of October 13, 2014. The second round will be in reverse order of points from the first round. Fences 3'. Prize money will be awarded as follows: 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6%, 5%, 5%.

Del Mar International World Cup Week CSI-W3* (Oct 22-26, 2014)

 

Open to Child/Adult Amateur horse/rider combinations from the PCHA Children's/Adult Amateur Jumper Standings. All horses, riders and owners must be current PCHA members. Classes to count at each show include the Children's Jumpers, Adult Amateur Jumpers, and the Child/Adult Amateur Jumper Classics.

Each horse/rider combination must have competed in one other class during the Del Mar International World Cup Week CSI-W3*. All entries will compete in a first round on Friday, October 24, and the top 30 horse/rider combinations will compete for the championship on Saturday, October 25. The order of go for the first round will be in reverse order of points from the PCHA Children's Adult Jumper Standings as of October 20, 2014. The second round will be in reverse order of points from the first round. Any horse and rider combination that competes over 1.20m during the 2014 show season will become ineligible to compete in the championship. Any rider that competes above 1.30m during the 2014 show season will not be eligible for the championship. Fences 1.10m. Prize money will be awarded as follows: 30%, 22%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6%, 5%, 5%.
