Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR)

Senator Merkley has long-held ties to the WACA network as former president of the
World Affairs Council of Oregon. He has served in the U.S. Senate since 2009.

. He is an expert on Arab and Turkish politics as well as U.S.-Middle East policy.
