Announcing a Retirement & a New Co-Owner

It is with warm wishes that I announce the retirement of my long time business partner and friend, Peter Johnston. Since 1995, it has been my pleasure to work with Peter, celebrate numerous milestones, lead the fifth generation of family members and, carry on our family legacy of boating in the 1000 Islands.

Peter has been at Ed Huck Marine since 1981 starting on the gas dock, then customer service and finally as an owner with his wife Jody. While he has agreed to stick around for a few more in/out seasons, he told me a couple of years ago that he'd like to step back ...and boat more in the summer and ski more in the winter (if that's possible!). With complete confidence in his entire Service Team, Peter leaves knowing that you will continue to receive the high quality service you appreciate from Ed Huck Marine.

EHM Update:

Welcome Nathan Sheaff to our Crew!

We are pleased to share that Nathan Sheaff joins Mark Dalton and Scott on the ownership team. Nathan brings his enthusiasm for boating in the 1000 Islands and in particular Ed Huck Marine to our Crew. Nathan has been a boater at the marina since 2001 and, with his wife Holiday, son Lincoln and daughter London, enjoys hanging out at Scenic Dock or Grenadier or the Navy Islands throughout the summer.

Together Scott, Mark and Nathan will continue to follow the marina's established business path. Nathan's business experience and skills will support our modernization and development projects like the expansion of our state of the art ParkStor facilities scheduled for 2019.

WOW! Women on Water Training Programs

Are you interested in being the captain on your next boating trip? Our Women on Water (WOW) Training Program is designed to allow female boaters to gain confidence, take the helm, and meet new friends in your boating community.

This fun, hands-on and free program is designed for female boaters who currently have a Pleasure Craft Operators Card. Learn more about our WOW Programs

WOW Programs are scheduled for Saturday, June 2nd (rain date June 9th) and Saturday, July 7th (rain date July 14th) from 10 am - 3 pm. Space is limited. Reserve your spot today!

Rock the Dock In-Water Boat Show

June 16th & 17th, 2018

Come celebrate the boating lifestyle and take a look at some of the hottest 2018 models. We'll have lots of boats in the water including the only Tiara 38 LS in Canada, a Boston Whaler 270 Vantage, Cobalt's CS22, Rossiter's 20' Coastal Cruiser, Boston Whaler's 170 Montauk, Manitou Pontoon 21 Aurora LE and the 185 Explorer from our new brand ThunderJet.

Feel what it's like to be behind the wheel and our Sales Crew will be there to show you all the features in these exciting new models. This is also a great opportunity to check out our used and brokerage inventory and tour ParkStor, our state of the art indoor boat storage and showroom.
