Dear St. Paul's,

The wardens and vestry of St. Paul’s are pleased to announce that the Rev. Susan N. Eaves has accepted our call to serve as bridge interim rector. The Rev. Sue Eaves will start with St. Paul’s on October 2 to guide us forward as we, with the help of the Diocese of Virginia, identify and call an interim rector, who we hope will be in place early in 2018.

Many of you will recall Sue graciously served St. Paul’s in 2014 and 2015 as our interim associate rector. Since ordination Sue has served as Director of The Upper School at St. Catherine's Episcopal School for Girls, associate rector of St. James's Richmond, rector of St. Thomas' Richmond and, since retirement, has been active at St. John's and St. Peter's in Richmond, as well as serving the national church as Deputy to General Convention for some years and on a number of boards including as a Trustee for Westminster Canterbury. Sue has three children and three grandchildren, having been married to Lindon Eaves for almost fifty years. She enjoys reading, photography, travel, the theater, and the arts.

Sincerely,

The vestry of St. Paul's Episcopal Church
