Happy December and hello to the IPAY community,

It takes the cooperation and support of a great many individuals and organizations to produce our annual Showcase of the best international performing arts available for young audiences, and this week we would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our wonderful sponsors. Without the generous support of our many organizational and company sponsors we would not be able to produce Showcase to the high standard that you, our community, has come to expect. The support of our sponsors helps to cover the expense of venues, catering, technical production of showcases, spotlights and kindling, delegate support, the Rye and Porter programs, registration and so much more.

We are lucky to have a range of sponsors from long-time supporters as well as those new to offering their support this year, including those that have joined us for our collaboration with TYA/USA. We are also very excited to add DoubleTree Hilton as a new multi-year sponsor. All sponsorships are beneficial and necessary, and we thank you all.

Other valued sponsors and partners include Australia Council for the Arts, Embassy of Australia, Arts South Australia, Boat Rocker Entertainment, Brush Theatre, Canada Council, Derek Evans, Green Thumb Theatre, Holden & Arts Associates, The Kennedy Center, Kimmel Center, LA Choreographers and Dancers, Loyd Artists, Playhouse Square, ProChile, Quebec Cultural Agency, Slingsby, Theatre SKAM, and TeaterCentrum.

There is still time for your organization to shine as a sponsor of Showcase 2018! The deadline for sponsored ads in the annual Showcase Program is Friday, December 8.

They say you can get lost in a good book. But it's worse getting lost in a bad one. In this mysterious, magical, dark fairytale, an apprentice bookbinder's seemingly simple job turns into an epic, perilous quest. The visually stunning one-man performance weaves shadow play, paper art, puppetry, and music.

Depicting the days just before Nadia's departure for the Caliphate, Nadia explores the causes of radicalization in Western societies. When, where, and how were the first seeds planted? What is she seeking? Why do these extremist ideas offer a firmer footing in the world than her life in the West?
