This is the twelfth year we are holding this important track event. We setup like a store and then, with the assistance of volunteer elves, the children pick out presents for their mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers, and of course a present for themselves! It is a beautiful sight to see so many thinking of their families and how to pick out that very special present!

Last year 350 children passed thru the doors and shopped for their families. We have not yet advertised this event, but everyday there are parents and children at our office door asking when the event will be. It is truly an important day for the families of the backstretch.  This is a time when we can make the holiday season better for those who have so little.

This event cannot happen without the support of many. We need presents for children, teenagers and men and women. We also accept monetary donations. There are many of our elves waiting to shop. The BCCA brings hope and encouragement to children and families who, most of all, need to believe in a  community that cares.
