How will self-driving cars impact your life?

There is a transportation revolution looming large in the not too distant future. Driverless vehicles are coming and they are going to affect much more than our morning commute. We are excited to announce keynote speaker Valerie Sathe Brugeman, Senior Project Manager with the Center for Automotive Research. She has been with the center for a decade and her work primarily revolves around the interactions between the automotive industry, communities, and advanced mobility.

We will also review our 2017 accomplishments, recognize key volunteers and present highlights from our 2018 Program of Work.

Toledo City Council to consider budget legislation

At its regular voting session at 4:00 p.m. today, Toledo City Council will likely refer to the Finance and Budget Oversight Committee ordinances that include Mayor Paula Hicks-Hudson's proposed operating budget for 2018 and capital budget for 2018 through 2022. Per state law, the City has until March 31, 2018 to pass a balanced operating budget. It is expected that changes will be made by both the Council and incoming Kapszukiewicz administration.

12.13.17 - Join us to hear from Mayor-Elect Wade Kapszukiewicz on his vision for the City of Toledo and his plans to address several critical issues which he identified during his campaign including clean and affordable water, the city budget, road repairs, safe neighborhoods, and investing in Toledo. Election of Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce Board Members will also take place during this event.
