37th Annual Town Meeting Set for Wednesday Evening, June 25
|
Spend an evening at our 37th Annual Town Meeting on Wednesday, June 25, at River's Edge. It's free of charge, and you may even win a prize! Sign-in starts at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. program at River's Edge, 3430 Rocky River Drive. Enter the parking lot one driveway north of St. Joseph Academy.
Other speakers include Ward 17 Councilman Marty Keane and KCDC Executive Director Steve Lorenz. Both will provide updates on current neighborhood projects. Display tables from local non-profit agencies, an exciting spontaneous raffle from local merchants, awards, and refreshments make this a fun event, celebrating life in West Park.
Asphalt Cinema Returns with a Twist!
Fresh new activities take place as the sun goes down for our free movie under the stars on the third Fridays of June, July, and August. Starting Friday, June 20, local merchants and non profit organizations provide games with prizes at 6:30 p.m.
Then, at 7:30 p.m. learn new dance steps, keep the beat with a rhythmic instrument, sing songs, paint self-portraits or characters from the film -- and more! Monsters University starts at dusk. Concessions by Four Corners Baseball stay open throughout the evening. The event is sponsored by Fairview Hospital.

Local Cuisine, Spirits, Music, and Art Set to Help Children
Join in making a difference with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals by taking part in AMP Fest at AMP 150, the popular "farm to table" restaurant in the Cleveland Marriott Hotel, 4277 West 150th Street. Beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 27, spend the evening sipping local beers, enjoying a gourmet barbecue, admiring the work of local artist Hector Vega, and listening to live music by The Westies.
