Dear Friends of Child Foundation,
After thorough auditing of all of our 2015-16 accounts and financial records, they reported that Child Foundation had spent 93.74% of its income on its child sponsorship and humanitarian programs, only 3.39% on our administration and 2.87% on its marketing efforts.
Our income for year 2016 reached a new record high of $3,000,000. These are great numbers that shows the healthiness of our foundation.
Our formula for success? In my humble opinion, our secret is the talented staff who work hard, devoted volunteers who are eager to help, and kind and generous donors who care about well being of others, especially children in need. Season that with transparency to public, accountability to donors and a great mission, and you have a recipe that will never fail.
Let me officially thank everyone who worked, helped, volunteered, donated or supported our mission and emphasize that our work in not done. We have a very long and bumpy road ahead but we are on the right track and with a team like you, we are more motivated and will double our efforts to help more children in need to have access to education.

Guess Who is Coming to Dinner This Thanksgiving?
Thanksgiving, a national holiday where we share our blessings with others is just a few short weeks away.
Many invite their friends and families over for dinner and at the same time many share their food with those who are struggling to provide food for their families.
This year, Child Foundation is working with a few trusted local charities and volunteers to provide you with a number of opportunities to virtually invite a family to your Thanksgiving feast and share your blessing with them.
Programs we are working on are:
- Provide food for Syrian refugees who have just landed in the United States
- Provide food to families in Haiti who lost everything in deadly Hurricane Matthew
- Provide breakfast to students in Sistan and Baluchestan who attend school on empty stomach
We kindly request that you donate generously to our Food Package Fund and let us know how you want us to distribute your donation. You can rest assured that your kindness will make a great impact on the life of those who will enjoy your Thanksgiving gift.

More Good News to be Proud of:
This year again, we had more of our sponsored children accepted to universities through out Iran. We are proud to announce 251 of our children were accepted to different universities and colleges around the country.
Among these students, we are especially proud of one of the most talented from Iranshahr of Sistan Baluchestan province who ranked 97th and was accepted to the dentistry program at Zahedan University.
It is worth it to mention that so far 1,200 of our students have graduated from different universities and currently with the help of thousands of kind sponsors, we are providing scholarship to more than 8,700 students. Out of this number, more than 800 of them are attending in universities.

I have a mental disable sister with heart disease, and a father who had an accident which resulted in brain injury that had made our life very hard.
My family can not afford to pay for my education because of high cost of medical expense of my father and sister.
I love school, please support my education

A generous lady donated a large piece of land to be used for building a school for children in need in Tabriz.
Child Foundation has finished surveying the land and have blue prints ready.

Winter is approaching fast in Afghanistan, and concern of many families we support is their "heat".
They usually use coal for their coal stove and heaters. This year they are also concerned about security of the area and how difficult it could be to look for coal.
According to our office in Mazar-e-sharif, the cost of coal for each family is about $80. If you like to help a family in need to stay warm this winter, please donate $80 for each family here.
