We start the 2016-17 Season with a unique guitarist - composer.

Regarded as one of the world's leading classical guitarists, David Leisner's superb musicianship and provocative programming have been applauded by critics and audiences around the world. Celebrated for expanding the guitar repertoire, David Leisner has introduced many important new works and has been a tireless advocate for neglected gems of the past, being a pioneer in the rediscovery of Johann Kaspar Mertz (1806-1856), whose music Leisner recorded and edited for publication.

For more information and tickets for David's concert, visit our website. Or you may decide to pick up Season Tickets to enjoy all seven artists we are bringing to the South Bay this year.

The video below will give you glimpse of David Leisner's virtuosity and style.

We also want to invite you to our monthly Open Mic held on the 4th Tuesday of the month. The word's been getting out and our Open Mic has grown in number of performers, variety of music and audience ... come join the fun. Check our website for more information.
Starting last season our favorite theater - the Trianon - raised its venue costs. We want to ask all guitar lovers and friends to consider a  donation or membership
to help the Society continue to present great artists and promote guitar education and performance opportunities for the next generation of guitarists in the Bay Area.
