Note From Anne--
I have been to a lot of retreats and soyos over the years, but only as a vendor or sometimes a teacher or presenting a trunk show. It is always fun to do this but I have never had the experience of "attending". This last weekend I finally got that chance and now I understand.
What a fantastic way to spend quality time with friends, and just literally quilt non stop. It is a great

way to recharge the creative juices, to learn something new and share your tips and tricks with others. The world drops away for a while and you get so involved with the pleasure of quilting.
Retreats are definitely going to be built into my schedule going forward. If you have not had the opportunity to attend one, don't be afraid to jump in and get your feet wet. You will love it!!

Quilt Connection Door Prize Winner 2018 Black Hills Shop Hop

Marge Thomas was the lucky winner of the Quilt Connection Door Prize for the 2018 Black Hills Shop Hop. It ran from April 6th to 21st. Quilters could stop at each of the nine participating Black Hills Area Quilt Shops and pick up a free pattern for a block and register for prizes.

Jelly Rolls for a Rug? Yes!!
|
|
This rug pattern is made using 2 1/2 inch fabric strips. You will need one Jelly Roll (42 - 2 1/2 inch fabric strips) and 100 percent cotton batting. Finished size of the rug is approximately 30" x 44".
We have the precut batting rolls in stock to use with it or you can cut your own. As the photo shows, you can easily use the technique to create other shapes as well.
