With the Chicago Municipal Election just days away, Mikva Challenge students have been busy campaigning, hosting candidate forums, and speaking out about the issues they want to see addressed by the new administration.

DearMayor.com Gives Chicago Youth a Platform to Speak to New Mayor

 This winter, Mikva Challenge launched the website DearMayor.com to provide a space for Chicago youth to make their voices heard this election season. Youth speak out on video clips and in writing to advocate for action on the issues that matter to them most.
Listening to the youth voices on the website allows, we hear the urgency, real world knowledge, and insightfulness of Chicago youth on this historic election.

Remember, Election Day is February 22nd. There will be 1700 Mikva students serving as Election Judges on Tuesday. If you see a Mikva student at your polling place, don't forget to say hello!
