ApexOne Investment Partners is proud to announce the acquisition of Legends Place apartments in Lawrence, Kansas. Legends Place is the third asset purchased in 2014 on behalf of the ApexOne Growth & Income Fund I.  The ApexOne Growth and Income Fund I now controls 506 units and 1564 beds across three student oriented assets.

Legends Place was developed in 2003 as purpose-built student housing at the University of Kansas - Kansas largest university with a total enrollment of 28,000+. The property consists of 200 two, three and four bedroom apartment homes with 632 individual bedrooms. Located at 4101 W. 24th Place students are only 1.3 miles from campus with shuttle service available every 20 minutes year round.  

A comprehensive property enhancement program will begin shortly after closing and will focus on improving the properties curb appeal and upgrades to the community amenity package. Enhancements to the unit interiors will be completed on turnover and prior to the 2015/16 school year. Peak Campus Management has been retained for onsite management services.
