Apprenticeship Program Sign-Up
Deadline: May 1st
MEATA Conference
May 23rd, 24th, & 25th
The highlight of the MEATA Conference is the Apprenticeship in a Day Workshop. During the conference, MEATA will take a select group of companies and organizations through the entire apprenticeship registration process. The HBA has been asked to assist in raising the awareness of the conference and the apprenticeship program and to find builders who want to participate.

Builders who have committed to the apprenticeship program by May 1st and met with Dan Goodchild or Amy Burns, only need to be there on Thursday, May 24th, and there will be no charge for that day. You are more than welcome to come for the whole 3-day conference but you will have to register through the MEATA website and there is a charge to attend the whole conference.
Builders are asked to fill out the Employer Interest Form and email it to either Dan Goodchild or Amy Burns by May 1st . Dan and/or Amy will then contact you to set-up an appointment to customize your apprenticeship program and answer any questions you may have. If you have an employee you would like to put through the program, please bring them! There will be a signing event on the afternoon of the 24th and possibly Governor Snyder will be there or Senator Stabenow.
