Be Social - Connect with Us!
April Showers... Busy here with PrintROCKS creative, finalizing a NEW recruitment platform, strategizing within the communities you operate, preparing for quite a few events, and watching (ahh choo) everything bloom! Longer days, warmer nights are a welcome sight as the PPI Team continues to ramp up the value of belonging.

Spring is for getting out and being social (aka networking / branding) which is core to the support we offer the companies and individuals we serve. Here are a few members using social media to share their culture, their offerings, their amazing work (and hopefully entering them into our 10th annual PrintROCKS competition) just sayin'. Do we follow YOUR social channels? If not, send us a note so we can help promote YOU!

Printing in Color is easy (said no one). PPI Members Alder Techology & SpotOn! Press want to make it easier. Both brands have launched their new YouTube channels linked above. We applaud them for launching into video and google opportunities!

Instagram is a favorite platform to showoff visually amazing stuff and engage an audience that feels the same way. PPI Member Guided in Kent, WA uses instagram to reinforce the company brand, culture and capabilities through great imagery and cleaver one liners. No doubt they raise the possibilities of reaching new customers!

Gann Bros Printing
(Portland, OR) showcases their unique heritage and offerings within their letterpress niche, but remind their audience how they work with vintage images or new design and substrates.

QSL Print Communications (Eugene, OR) has a solid
sustainability message in company longevity as well as environmental issues. They effectively use Facebook to engage customers and extend their reach in the community.

We know our customers are using them a variety of social media, so we should be too! You can always engage us on any platform - let us help you spread the word that YOUR PrintROCKS! See you in person and / or online soon!!

Oh YES! Hop on over to our instagram feed to see this in motion and keep up on all ~ @printrocks_ppi(ears courtesy of my Snapchat)

What Now? Economic and Print Market Trends and Outlook 2017-2018

Although last fall's election settled the big political questions of the day, economic policy issues remain cloudy at best. With the new administration in office around 100 days, we update our economic and print market forecast. Economic forecasting is always precarious but it may be much more so with the current disruptions, uncertainty, and conflicts. Even so, in this Flash we offer our assessment of the direction of the economy over the next two years and the resulting impacts on print markets and printers. We also offer observations on the longer-run profile of the economy and print markets for the next ten years.

5 Ways to Help Employees be #PrivacyAware

Data Privacy Day is here and an important reminder of the value of privacy and security when it comes to protecting our data, both at home and within the workplace. Getting employees involved in the conversation about being #PrivacyAware is a good place to start in creating a culture of privacy within your organization. Follow PPI Partner Kirkpatrick Price on Twitter @KPAudit to join the conversation and share how you help employees be #PrivacyAware.

In the meantime, HERE are a few tips we've come up with. What other ways are you encouraging employees to be #PrivacyAware?
