Opening to the Love that Heals
A Love Shabbat
Friday, April 1, 7 pm, Unity of Whidbey
5671 Crawford Road, Langley (corner of SR 525 & Crawford Rd.)
Unity of Whidbey

When the rabbinic sages were asked to identify the most important teachings of Torah, the passages they chose were the same as the ones called the Great Commandments by  Jesus

  • You shall love the Eternal your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. (Deuteronomy 6:5)
  • You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Leviticus 19:18
  • On these two commandments hang all the Torah and the prophets. (Matthew 22:37)
The focus of this next Shabbat gathering will be on these most important teachings. How can we better open our hearts to love of self, love of other, and love of the Divine Presence?
