MERCY HIGH SCHOOL

This year, Mercy is hosting a Pre-HSPT for seventh grade students on May 5th. Students also have time to visit as a "Mercy Girl for a Day" until May 4 and families may spend a "Morning at Mercy!" from 8:30 - 10:30 on April 27 or May 4.
Registration and details are below!
Pre-HSPT Entrance Exam for the Class of 2023
Saturday, May 5, 2018 ~ 9:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
The HSPT (High School Placement Test) is the test Mercy uses for acceptance and placement into our academic program. This practice exam gives students an opportunity to prepare for the HSPT by familiarizing them with the test content and structure as well as offering insight on their performance. Each student will receive a comprehensive scoring report providing feedback and identifying strengths and areas for improvement. Students who achieve 90th national percentile or higher are eligible for a tuition credit at Mercy for the 2019-2020 academic year pending acceptance in November 2018. Registration is required. The $10 testing fee is payable at the door.
"Mercy Girl for a Day"
Mercy encourages any student considering Mercy to become a “Mercy Girl For a Day”. Seventh grade students may visit through May 4. Each visiting student spends the day with a Mercy student with similar interests, follows her class schedule, meets her friends, has lunch in the cafeteria and gets a great feel for what it’s like to go to Mercy. Students check in at the main office at 7:45 a.m. and pick up an information package. They are greeted by Mercy Student Ambassadors and are off to class for the day! This is the perfect time to ask questions about what it’s like to attend an all girl school, take religion classes, the amount of homework to expect in high school, etc. The day ends at 2:00 p.m.
"Mornings at Mercy!"
  • Experience what it is like to attend an all-girls school!
  • Gain an understanding of what happens at a Catholic college preparatory high school during the day.
  • Explore a learning environment that supports personal growth and leadership development in the classroom, on the playing fields and through clubs and activities.
Who: Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Grade Girls, or high school students considering a transfer to Mercy, and their Parents
What:
  • Meet students, faculty, school guidance counselors and administrators
  • Tour the campus and visit classrooms
  • Dine in the Mercy Commons cafeteria
  • Visit the school store!
When: 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.: Tuesday, April 24 & Friday, May 4
Spring is coming…we promise! It’s time to start thinking about our annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale…
