At the invitation of the South East Baptist Association, Brighton, England, Vice Principal, Mrs. Elizabeth Shehadeh, and High School Hebrew teacher, Mr. Aziz Banna, led, during the Spring break, a mission team of twenty 10th and 11th grade NBS students to England.

While on mission, the students presented a choral special at the worship services of Uckfield Baptist Church and Tonbridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Shehadeh shared the NBS story with the congregations. They visited Cardinal Newman High School in Brighton where they shared and interacted with students. One of the highlights of the mission effort was a visit to the Kononia Nursing Home in Worthy where they sang, spoke and prayed for the residents. They finished their trip with visits to London and Oxford.
