STUFFED ANIMAL SLEEPOVER AT THE LIBRARY

MAGIC AND MAKE-BELIEVE HAPPEN AT THE OSTERVILLE VILLAGE LIBRARY

Children are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to the Osterville Village Library between 3-5 p.m. on Friday May 2. Once the OVL closes, the animals will "come to life" in the library! Librarians will capture the stuffed animals' after-hours antics on film. Children are invited back for a special sleepover themed Story Time on Saturday morning, May 3 at 10 a.m. to retrieve their stuffed animal, along with photos of their stuffed animal's sleepover at the library.

Some of the planned activities for the stuffed animals include: a pizza dinner, roasting marshmallows by the fire in the Carolyn Crossett Rowland Fireside Reading Room, a movie in the Main Meeting Room, ending with a goodnight story in the Lillian "Dixie" Morton Children's Room (and lots of other activities in between)!

Participants will receive a certificate of participation calligraphed by Cathy Wright, calligrapher, as well as a photo booklet, colored by the child, showcasing two photos of the stuffed animal at the OVL sleepover.

For more information about this event, please call the Osterville Village Library at 508-428-5757 or email [email protected].
