Thank you so much to all those who attended our 3rd Annual Changing Lives Benefit Breakfast on April 5th. It was truly a special morning with heartfelt stories from our clients who are true survivors of homelessness and domestic violence.  We very much appreciate the support from everyone that contributed to the overwhelming success of this event.  Thank you, Stephanie Snapkoski, for giving your time to take photos that morning.   If you would like to see more, please click here

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Every year, there are 293,000 victims of sexual assault -- that's a sexual assault every 107 seconds. As individuals, all of us have a role to play in creating safe environments. We can all: intervene to stop problematic and disrespectful behavior; promote and model healthy attitudes, behaviors, and relationships; believe survivors and assist them in finding resources.  For more information, please call 703-435-4940 to learn how to get involved or to seek services through our domestic violence shelter, Artemis House.
