Catholic Advocacy Day

Catholic Advocacy Day is Tuesday, April 4. The day will begin with a rally at the South steps of the State Capital. All are welcome to join the rally with Catholics from all over the state, including families from St. Austin Catholic Parish and School. After the rally,  teams of volunteers will make legislative visits to the offices of senators and representatives.

If you would like to be on a team to visit your state representatives on issues from the Bishops' Legislative Concerns, contact Pat Macy in the parish office.

If you can not make it to the Capitol but want to be a part of the day, volunteer to phone or email your representatives! Scripts are provided to help you share the concerns of the Texas Bishops. For information contact Pat Macy.
