April 2017: Issue No. 17

Dear Library Community,

Have you heard about Baby Boxes? Are you an expecting or new parent? The Baby Boxes program promotes safe sleep education and is now partnering with hospitals, libraries and other social services in the United States to distribute boxes for infants to sleep.  Through education and awareness parents who participate in the program will have the resources to make better choices during the critical first months of their child's development.

Fairview Public Library has Baby Boxes in stock. If you need one, just follow these 3 simple steps and you can come pick up your box.

1. Register on Baby Box University: www.babyboxuniversity.com

2. Log into babyboxuniversity.com and watch the 15 minute relevant syllabus. After you've taken the quiz, you will receive a certificate of completion which you take a screenshot of or print out.

3. Bring your certificate to the library and collect your Baby Box!

Sincerely,

Kristin Nelson, Library Director
