A Note from Pastor Chris AND Facilities Tours this Sunday

When it comes to our current physical plant, quite simply, we can't stay where we are.  We are in a financially unsustainable position by trying to maintain the 4 buildings we currently have.  So quite simply, we have to simplify.  We need to maximize our stewardship of the main church structure built in 2009, and streamline our footprint, so that our facilities serve the mission of our church.  The attached letter outlines a corporate call toward simplicity that will result in increasing freedom to be more generous toward those being and making disciples among and through our church.  Thank you in advance for taking the time to read these important communications about our facilities recommendations.

We will offer guided tours of the Ewing building and the Parsonage during Coffee Hour this Sunday, April 26th.  Please meet at the Facilities Table in Phillips Hall at either 10:35 or 10:45A for a tour.

If you are unable to join us then, feel free to contact the church office to schedule another time.

Finally, we will also consolidate our worship services on Sunday, May 3rd, so that we can have an All Church Meeting at 11A for any and all who would like more information regarding the recommendation of the Facilities Planning Team.  We will also offer tours of Bradford and the proposed main building changes during Coffee Hour.   We want to afford multiple opportunities for the church to participate in this conversation so that we can move forward together as a church.

For those of you who were not in church last Sunday, the Power Point presentation featuring the recommendations made by the Facilities Planning Team and the Board is now available on the website.
