VBS 2017
VBS registration is now open!
It's time to start planning your summer! Make sure you have  Maker Fun Factory VBS on your calendar. Your child, ages 3-10, can attend either June 12-16 or June 19-23. They can even invite their friends to register! Only the preschool component of the program requires a volunteer!

We need more volunteers. Join our team!
You don't have to have children in the program. We have college students and grandparents volunteering! Register today to volunteer.

Can't volunteer, but you still want to help?
We are in need of donations! Donations will be used to purchase supplies and scholarship children who may not be able to attend otherwise.

Camp Triumph is back!
Also this summer, we will have Camp Triumph sports camp on campus for "after VBS" camp Monday-Thursday, 12 noon to 4 pm both weeks. Children can be dropped off at 9 and picked up at 4! We hope this will help children of working parents to attend VBS!  Camp Triumph will also hold a morning sports camp on our campus July 24-28, 9 am to 12 pm!

Friends of First Church
Friends of First Church
A Friend of First Church is a non-profit organization which holds a special relationship with First Church. It is an organization which offers ministry or services that closely mirror the church's mission and is in keeping with United Methodist polity, practice, and doctrine. The Friends of First Church apply for this special relationship. First Church is proud to connect interested persons to these ministries. Current friends include The Care Communities, drops of grace®, Footprints Children's Grief Ministry, the Round Rock Area Serving Center, Drive a Senior, and the Williamson County Crisis Services - Hope Alliance.

A new friend has just been added... The Backpack Coalition. The Backpack Coalition is a collaboration of various churches, civic and business organizations designed to meet the needs of hungry children in the Round Rock Independent School District by providing them with nutritious and easy-to-prepare food to take home on weekends. Each week, volunteers from partners and groups in our community come together to prepare food kits for the children, deliver the kits to the schools, and distribute those kits to students in need. Currently, they have teams in 19 schools in Round Rock and Pflugerville ISDs. First Church was involved with The Backpack Coalition from the very beginning and First Church member, Kathy Ford, serves as director for the coalition. We welcome The Backpack Coalition as a new Friend of First Church. Read more about all of the Friends of First Church on the church website.

Our part of The Backpack Coalition is the First Church Backpack Project which works specifically to provide food for weekend meals and snacks to students in need at Wells Branch Elementary and Bluebonnet Elementary. Both of these schools are Title I schools and among the neediest in our immediate area.
