Dear Church Family,
In the coming days, you and the other 5300+ BGCT affiliated Baptist churches will be made aware of my pending nomination for 2nd Vice President for the convention. This nomination will occur at the annual meeting in Arlington this July. If elected, I will serve from July 2018-November of 2019. I am humbled by this request to serve Texas Baptists in this capacity and commit to you that this position will not hinder my ability to be your Pastor. BHBC remains committed to the BGCT and the historic Baptist principles of local church autonomy, the priesthood of believers and the Bible being the inspired Word of God. I am grateful for the support of the church staff and have complete trust in their ability to lead in the day to day ministry needs of our church and community. I have informed the Deacons, Personnel team and Church Council. Please pray for me, my family, and the great work that Texas Baptist are doing in our state for God’s kingdom. If you have any questions about this role please feel free to contact me.
