The New Aging Well
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month. We are blessed to have so many volunteers that truly give of themselves. They are the ♥ of our organization.  Volunteers deliver meals every day, drive clients to doctors appointments, the grocery, beauty/barber shop and more. We have a few that help with changing Lifeline buttons too! Volunteers allow SCE to carry out our mission!  All of our volunteers are special! In this edition, we would like to introduce you to our wonderful office volunteers.
Meet Nine Special Ladies
Our office volunteers are great! SCE believes everyone that calls into the office needs to hear a smiling voice on the other end. With their grace, kindness and knowledge, these ladies assure each caller we can help them. They know the staff and are able to get the caller to the appropriate team member. They also help with mailings, paperwork, menus, and much more.
Ann Curtis
This October, Ann will celebrate her 13th year volunteering for SCE. She started driving transportation as well as front desk receptionist. These days she also steps in and covers for Pat Brodfehrer, our Transportation Coordinator. During the week Ann's normal schedule is Monday, Friday and every other Wednesday afternoon. Thank you for everything you do for us Ann. We love you!
"I just love volunteering here. The staff is very good about making their volunteers feel appreciated. My favorite part about volunteering for SCE would be talking to the clients."
"My favorite part about volunteering for SCE is the staff that I work with every week. The staff is just wonderful!"

We love you!
