PRESENTATION:

Noah Budnick, Executive Director

As the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition's (SFBC) Executive Director, Noah Budnick provides organizational leadership and vision to improve life for San Franciscans by promoting the bicycle for everyday transpor-tation. Prior to this, he was Deputy Director of Transportation Alternatives, New York's advocates for biking, walking and public transit. Noah also serves on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Biking & Walking - the national coalition of state and local bicycle and pedestrian advocacy groups. He has B.A.s in Anthropology and International Affairs from Colorado College and was a Revson Fellow at Columbia University, where he studied at Union Theological Seminary.

For over 40 years, the SFBC has been transforming San Francisco streets and neighborhoods into more livable and safe places by promoting the bicycle for everyday transportation. They are one of the largest and most effective bicycle advocacy groups in the country. Through their day-to-day advocacy, education and working partnerships with City and community agencies, the SFBC creates safer streets and more livable communities for all San Franciscans.

As part of Bike Month in May, the SFBC members are working in partner-ship with the San Francisco Interfaith Council and California Interfaith Power & Light to create a Bike to Worship Week from May 24 to May 31, 2015.
