Brian Cheu is the Director of Community Development for San Francisco's Mayor's Office of Housing and Community Development.  In that capacity he is responsible for over- seeing the City's Community Development Block Grant Program, the Emergency Solutions Grant program, Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Program, and the South of Market Community Stabilization Fund, as well as the department's capacity building and community building activities.  The plan will help define funding priorities and strategies for four federal funding sources totaling approximately $30 million per year.
